HOW TO PLAY

Ludo is a classic dice and race game played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each controlling two houses with a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home position before your opponent.

MOVEMENT OF PIECE

The player with the red house starts the game. In the case of a win, the loser begins the next game with the red house. A piece can only exit the house if the die outcome is 6. Once on the track, pieces can move with any die outcome. The track comprises 56 steps, starting from home and leading to the center of the board. A piece can be removed only after completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

PIECE CAPTURE

A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on a block occupied by the opponent's piece. The captured piece is then returned to its home, and the capturing piece is removed from the board. The key to winning is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding capture. However, a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1. A player can roll the dice twice consecutively or more, as long as each roll results in a 6 (e.g., first roll = 6, second roll = 6).
2. The outcome of the dice must be played before rolling again, regardless of the result.
3. For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, navigate to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
