Story

Your adventure begins in a serene forest near the village of Riders. Alongside your friends Lilia and Cheval, you stumble upon a mysterious, glowing egg. In a playful moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded when it actually works! The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, the majestic "King of the Skies," whom you affectionately name "Ratha." You bring Ratha back to your village, but soon after, a monster infected with the "Black Blight" attacks, leaving devastation in its wake and deep scars in the hearts of Cheval and Lilia.

A year later, you are officially recognized as a Rider by the Village Chief, who bestows upon you a Kinship Stone. As Cheval and Lilia embark on their separate journeys, you, with the cheerful Navirou by your side, set out on a new adventure into the world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph awaits—ride on into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

  • This app features the same introductory story as the handheld console version.
  • Some features from the handheld console version, such as certain collaboration contents, amiibo features, local Network Battles, and StreetPass, are not available in this version.

  • Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version are not compatible with this version.
