Malody V marks a significant evolution in the world of cross-platform music games, developed passionately by a group of dedicated volunteers. Initially launched in 2014 with Key mode, Malody has now expanded to include Key, Catch, Pad, Taiko, Ring, Slide, and Live modes. Each of these modes comes equipped with a comprehensive chart editor and supports online rankings, making it possible to enjoy multiplayer experiences with friends in real-time.

Transitioning from the original Malody to Malody V, the team has completely rewritten the game using a new engine. This overhaul has allowed them to fix hundreds of bugs present in the older version and enhance key features such as the editor, profile system, collection management, and the in-game music player.
