To play Knowledge is Power: Decades on the PlayStation®4, you will need the companion app. Here's what you need to know about using the app:

Important Announcement as of December 14, 2023

Android Users: If you have already downloaded the companion app to your current device or it has been added to your library, you will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app. However, companion apps are no longer distributed on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.

Apple iOS Users: You will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app, regardless of your iOS version.

How to Play

Knowledge is Power: Decades is a high-energy quiz game that challenges your friends and family on the PlayStation®4 system. The game includes thousands of pop culture questions from the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s.

To play, use your smartphone as a controller. Connect up to five other players and compete to be the fastest to answer questions, use Power Plays to gain an edge, and participate in touch screen Challenges. The goal is to be the first to scale the Pyramid of Knowledge.

Setup:

• Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your compatible mobile device.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect.

Features of the Companion App

• Character Customization: Pick your character and use fun filters to snap a selfie.
• Private Answers: Answer quiz questions without other players seeing your choices.
• Power Plays: Choose from various Power Plays to slow down your rivals.
• Touch Screen Challenges: Engage in six different touch screen challenges using taps, swipes, drags, and more.
• Quiz Blast: Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge friends to beat your time on the go, away from your PlayStation®4 system. (Note: Message and data rates may apply.)

Language Support

The app supports the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
