Street Jam: The Rise

The streets are demanding a new champion for the fighting circuit, but do you have what it takes?

The call for a new ruler has been issued, and you're ready to step up. Will you rise against all opposition to become the city's new kingpin, a powerful gang leader, the chief of police, or will you end up in an early grave?

Street Jam: The Rise is a gritty, 370,000-word interactive adult novel by Tevin Betts, where your decisions shape the narrative. It’s completely text-based—devoid of graphics or sound—and driven entirely by the limitless power of your imagination.

In one of the world's largest metropolises, you start as a budding street fighter aiming for greatness, whether for wealth, renown, or justice. Select from a range of distinctive backgrounds and use your abilities to climb from the bottom to the top. Expect violence, betrayal, and more... all unfolding as you dominate club after club in this tale, inspired by the critically overlooked Def Jam series.

Will you be a principled, skillful fighter who earns respect? Or a ruthless, underhanded competitor who takes victory by force? Or perhaps an undercover cop who leverages police resources to win? Your choices and character will define your path as much as your victories.

Pursue romance or passion with over eleven characters, resolve a long-standing childhood rivalry, master multiple fighting disciplines, and leave a permanent mark on the city and its underworld. Remember—every action carries weight, no matter how minor it appears at first.
