Story

In the DC universe, multiple parallel dimensions exist simultaneously, known as alternative universes. Each realm experiences events differently, leading to a multitude of outcomes.

The game unfolds in a fictional alternative universe where Superman, corrupted after being tricked into killing his pregnant wife Lois and millions of civilians in a tragic nuclear accident, brutally takes down the Joker and begins his tyrannical rule over the planet.

With his mind corrupted, Superman sees himself as the supreme deity tasked with maintaining peace and order. His judgment becomes clouded, leading him to kill anyone he deems guilty.

This tyranny cannot last, or the planet will descend into destruction. A group of superheroes forms the Insurgency to stand against Superman's dictatorship, led by Batman. Despite their powers, they cannot defeat Superman's One Earth Regime and need help.

Batman and the Insurgency devise a plan to teleport superheroes from another dimension where the Joker's schemes never succeeded. They aim to borrow the powers of these alternate realm heroes. Thus begins your ultimate journey in the world of Injustice.
