Hez2: A Popular Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a classic Moroccan card game perfect for family fun. This turn-based game supports 1-4 players. A player's turn involves playing a card that matches either the suit or rank of the previously played card. If a player has no matching card, they must draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead. The goal is to be the first to get rid of all your cards.

Special Cards:

2: When a 2 is played, the next player must draw two cards. If they also have a 2, they can choose to play it (forcing the next player to draw four), or draw two cards and keep their 2. This continues until a player without a 2 draws the accumulated cards.
7: Playing a 7 allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next card played.
10: The player who plays a 10 must play another card immediately. If the 10 was their last card, they must draw a card.
12: (3 or 4 player games only) Playing a 12 skips the next player's turn.

The game ends when a player plays their last card (with special rules for 2s and 10s as the last card), and that player is declared the winner.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

10 Copas (Tbaye9)
10 Espadas (Syouf)
10 Oros (D'hab)
10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7, 10-12.
