Hexanaut.io (or simply Hexanaut) is a captivating .io game where you compete to control the largest possible territory. Careful planning is key – avoid cutting your own lines and watch out for other players doing the same to you! Strategic capture of scattered totems provides powerful advantages. How much of the hexagonal map can you claim?

Gameplay Instructions:

Use your mouse to navigate the map. Extend your territory by drawing lines; returning to your starting point completes the shape, claiming all enclosed hexagons. However, venturing outside your territory exposes you to danger. If another player intercepts your line, you'll lose your progress and have to start again.

Reaching 20% map control earns you the title of Hexanaut. Maintain this dominance for two minutes to achieve victory! Important note: elimination while another player holds the Hexanaut title prevents you from rejoining the current game.

Master the Totems:

Five unique totems offer significant strategic benefits in Hexanaut.io:

• Spreading Totem: This totem directly expands your territory by emitting lasers that claim hexagons one by one. Especially valuable in the early game.

• Speed Totem: Grants a 5% speed boost. While seemingly small, accumulating multiple speed totems provides a significant advantage.

• Teleporting Gate: Instantly transports you across the map. Ideal for defending large territories or surprising opponents.

• Slowing Totem: Creates a zone that significantly slows down opposing players. Use this to your advantage to eliminate slower foes within the zone.

• Spy Dish: Reveals the territories of all other players on the map, allowing for proactive defense against attacks.
