Before Starting Your Sensor

Before activating your Sensor, decide whether to use your smartphone or the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader for receiving glucose readings and alarms. Note that you can only receive these on one device at a time. To use your phone, start the Sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 app; to use the Reader, start the Sensor with the Reader itself.

It's important to understand that the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data. To ensure comprehensive data collection on a device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device. All your data can be uploaded and viewed at LibreView.com.
