Set during the 1960s under martial law in Taiwan, the game offers a unique experience with its simple point-and-click mechanics. Players guide characters through a haunted school, unraveling the eerie stories behind the supernatural disturbances.

The game masterfully incorporates religious elements from Taiwanese and Chinese culture and mythology, providing players with distinctive graphics and an immersive gaming experience. Detention, developed by Red Candle Games, is a proud recipient of the IndieCade 2017 award.
