You are the remnants of a failed experiment, reduced to a heap of undead ooze within a forsaken castle. To escape, you'll need to inhabit another less-than-living body and the sheer determination to battle through an ever-shifting, pixel art fortress teeming with rogue enemies and nightmarish bosses. Learn the essentials of intense 2D combat and platforming exploration, master a diverse arsenal of weapons, and grow your power as you uncover the mysteries of the dungeon, the castle, and what lies beyond.

And remember: don't fear death. That's what the massive pile of corpses in the dungeon is for. Fight, learn, perish, begin anew, and steadily improve.

The Netflix edition includes all free and paid downloadable content from the original game, so members can experience the complete escape from the first awakening. Conquer the secret Arboretum in "The Bad Seed" expansion, refine your skills in "Rise of the Giant," ascend from the dungeon to the cliffs in "Fatal Falls," face the castle's ultimate boss in "The Queen and the Sea," and join forces with iconic Castlevania heroes Alucard and Richter Belmont to challenge Dracula in the retro-styled "Return to Castlevania" DLC.
