Simulation of a Golf Game with Cards

This game simulates golf using a standard 52-card deck plus two Jokers. Each player receives six cards face down. The remaining cards form a draw pile, with the top card flipped up to begin the discard pile. The goal is to minimize the value of your cards by swapping them for lower-valued cards or pairing cards of equal rank. The lowest total score wins after nine rounds (holes). The highest score loses.

Gameplay: Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns drawing one card from either the draw or discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped with one of the player's six cards, or discarded. Swapped cards are turned face up. Discarding ends a player's turn. A round concludes when all a player's cards are face up. The game consists of nine rounds.

  • Joker: -2
  • Ace: 1
  • King: 0
  • Jack & Queen: 10
  • Other cards: Face value
