Ayushman is the official mobile app launched by the Government of India, designed to revolutionize healthcare accessibility for millions. Under the flagship scheme, Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), the initiative aims to provide cashless secondary and tertiary care treatments. This program offers comprehensive coverage to over 10 crore poor and vulnerable beneficiary families, allowing them access to empanelled public and private hospitals.

The National Health Authority (NHA) serves as the apex body tasked with overseeing the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ensuring that the scheme reaches those who need it most. One of the key features of the Ayushman app is the ability for beneficiaries to create an "Ayushman card." This card is crucial as it enables eligible individuals to receive free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs, significantly reducing the financial burden of healthcare.
