Application Description

To connect to a ZeroTier virtual network as a VPN from your phone or tablet, follow these steps:

Download and Install ZeroTier One for Android:
- Visit the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for "ZeroTier One" and download the app.
Join a ZeroTier Network:
- Open the ZeroTier One app on your device.
- You will be prompted to join a network. Enter the 16-character network ID provided by your network administrator or the one you created.
- Toggle the switch to join the network.
Configure as a VPN:
- Once connected to the ZeroTier network, your device will automatically treat it as a VPN connection. This means that your traffic will be routed through the ZeroTier network, providing you with the benefits of a VPN.
Verify Connection:
- Check the app to ensure your device is connected and listed as an active member of the network.
- You can also verify your VPN status in your Android settings under "Network & internet" > "VPN".

ZeroTier creates peer-to-peer virtual Ethernet networks that work anywhere, offering a faster alternative to traditional VPNs. It's ideal for providing a seamless hybrid or multi-site/multi-provider cloud backplane, remote collaboration for distributed teams, and direct end-to-end connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
