Kuro Games made history this weekend as over 10,000 fans packed Guangzhou's Canton Fair Complex for the inaugural Kurofest. The massive celebration brought the worlds of Wuthering Waves and Punishing: Gray Raven to life through two action-packed days featuring stunning installations, live performances, and exclusive reveals.
A Virtual World Comes to Life
The Wuthering Waves zone meticulously recreated beloved locations from Jinzhou to the Black Shores. Attendees could explore iconic landmarks including Mt. Firmament and Mortari Vault, with interactive boss battles, fan creations, and limited-edition merchandise enhancing the experience.
This successful offline gathering highlights a growing trend in game communities. Alongside upcoming major events like Gamescom 2025, Kuro Games has already hosted Wuthering Waves celebrations across Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei and Shanghai this year.

What's Coming in Version 2.6
Kurofest also provided exciting previews of Version 2.6 launching August 28th. The update introduces two Greek-inspired resonators - Iuno and Augusta - along with new combat mechanics and character convenes for Carlotta and Ciaccona.
