Instead, players will navigate using D.R.I.V.E., a dynamic, customizable, car-like mount designed to zip through the city's streets at speeds surpassing those of Skyriding. World of Warcraft has confirmed that these Breakneck races will leverage the full capabilities of the D.R.I.V.E. system.

In addition to Breakneck races, the patch introduces Skyrocket races, where players don Goblin jetpacks to soar through the skies. These races blend elements of existing flight systems, offering a unique movement style where players cannot stop mid-air like in Steady flight, yet they maintain momentum and altitude without the drawbacks of Skyriding. As demonstrated by WoW content creator MrGM on the Public Test Realm, racers gain speed by collecting rings, but this increased velocity makes turning less responsive, adding a layer of difficulty to Skyrocket races.

Breakneck races, though they lack the Advanced or Challenge courses seen in some Skyriding races.
