World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Blizzard confirmed these tokens would have no future use.
This automatic conversion in Patch 11.1 prevents players from retaining useless currency. While a release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the current Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events.
Consequently, the token conversion will likely postdate the second Turbulent Timeways event. Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, can be used in future Timewalking events; none of the Timewalking rewards are being removed.
