WoW: Acquiring Thrayir, Siren's Eyes

Getting around Azeroth on a stylish mount is half the fun in World of Warcraft, and the Stormcrow, Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, is one of the coolest. This isn't the first raven mount, but its Siren Isle origins make it special. This challenging mount is tied to a weather event within the War Within expansion's Siren Isle zone. You'll need to brave multiple phases of the Storm event, collecting items across the island to unlock this magnificent flying steed. Here's how to obtain Thrayir:

How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

To acquire Thrayir, you must collect five Runekeys:

• Whirling Runekey: This drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn found in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault during a Storm.

• Torrential Runekey: Collect seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm.

• Thunderous Runekey: Gather five Thunderous Fragments from any chest on Siren Isle (Storm phase not required).

• Cyclonic Runekey: Found while fishing in Siren Isle during a Storm, or as a possible drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.

• Turbulent Runekey: Find three Turbulent Fragments in specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

  • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
  • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole (the ghost is cowering).
  • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave (the ghost offers the fragment).

Once you have all five Runekeys, head back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but only during the Seafury Tempest phase. Entering during any other phase won't trigger the ritual. Inside the eastern room, you'll find Thrayir's body on a platform with five runestones. Place each Runekey into its corresponding slot to begin the quest, "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest, and your new mount will be added to your inventory!
