All Ways to Open the Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

Fortnite's Lawless season, themed around heists and thievery, is bringing back Vaults! Here's what we know about opening them in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2.

Fortnite new weapons for Vault opening

The season reveal trailer showcases three confirmed methods for accessing Vaults:

  • Blast through the vault door with the new Rocket Drill.
  • Melt the entrance with the Plasma Burst Rifle's laser capabilities.
  • Use the new Meltanite TNT explosive to blow the door open.

Expect additional methods to emerge, mirroring past seasons which often required keycards or quest completion. For now, brute force and a healthy dose of patience seem key, but we'll update this guide with new strategies as Season 2 unfolds on February 21st.

Be prepared for a fight! Previous seasons saw heavily guarded Vaults, both by AI and other players eager for high-tier loot.
