Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 fans will have to wait a bit longer, as the game has been delayed once again, with a new release window set for October 2025. This news was shared via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update from the development team.
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann discussed the current state of the game's development. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases." This focus on polishing the game underscores Paradox's commitment to ensuring a high-quality release.
Over the past few months, Paradox has been sharing Dev Diaries to keep players informed about the game's progress, covering aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's refinement, all Dev Diaries will be paused temporarily.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release under the development of Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was delayed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further pushed back to 2021. Amidst these delays, several key leads departed from the project.
In February 2021, Paradox Interactive made a significant change by announcing that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved with the game. Instead, development was handed over to The Chinese Room. Since then, the release date has been adjusted multiple times—from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to the end of 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now expected to launch in October 2025 across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For the latest updates and news on the game, be sure to check out our detailed articles.
