Summer Game Fest just unveiled an exciting new trailer featuring acclaimed voice actor Troy Baker in his latest project: MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, where he stars as a crime-solving rodent detective.
A Noir Tale with a Whiskered Hero
Baker brings to life private investigator Jack Pepper, a war veteran turned hardened detective who happens to be a mouse. The story kicks off when a classic femme fatale walks through his office door with a seemingly simple case, but Pepper soon finds himself unraveling a web of murder and political corruption throughout Mouseburg.
Visual Flair Meets Hardboiled Action
MOUSE stands out immediately with its stunning 3D first-person shooter gameplay wrapped in vintage cartoon aesthetics reminiscent of Cuphead's retro style. The game draws heavy inspiration from 1930s noir films, perfectly capturing that signature moody atmosphere.
Baker's legendary voice acting resume includes iconic roles like Joel in The Last of Us, Indiana Jones in the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite, Sam Drake in Uncharted 4, and Higgs Monaghan in Death Stranding and its sequel.
MOUSE: P.I. for Hire is slated for release this year across Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC platforms, developed by the talented team at Fumi Games.
