Another week has brought significant shifts in the Pokémon TCG single card market as trainers eagerly await the release of Destined Rivals. Fortunately, the preorders for Black Bolt and White Flare at the Pokémon Center were spared from a bot takeover this time around.
The most notable price drop this week was for Greninja ex 214/167, which has plummeted by nearly half its value since the start of the year. We're also witnessing price reductions across the Obsidian Flames and the elusive 151 expansions. On the flip side, Dragonite V from Evolving Skies has seen its value nearly double since the beginning of the year, a testament to its undervalued artwork.
Charizard V Alt Art continues to impress, showcasing a battle against Venusaur and steadily increasing in value. Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art is soaring even higher, gaining an additional $100 in value since the start of the year. Let's delve into the week's most significant Pokémon TCG price movements.
Pokémon Card Crashes

While Sword and Shield era Pokémon cards are finally seeing a rise in value, Scarlet and Violet series cards are settling back into more reasonable prices.
Alakazam ex SIR from 151 is a stunning card that's now 34% cheaper than it was at the beginning of March. It's a perfect addition to any collection this year.
Bulbasaur was my first starter Pokémon in Pokémon Blue, and this Bulbasaur IR card holds a special place in my heart. It's dropped by a significant 52% since mid-March, making it an attractive buy for collectors.
Moving on to Obsidian Flames, Ninetales IR has always been one of the set's highlights. With a 40% price drop since February, it's now available for a reasonable $18.17.

Charizard V Alt Art captures a dynamic battle with Venusaur and has gained $40 since January. Its unique angle and movement make it stand out, and it's poised to break the $200 mark before the year ends.
