World of Tanks Blitz is undergoing a significant transformation! This isn't a temporary cosmetic update or collaboration; the entire game is being rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5.
The "Reforged" update promises a complete graphical overhaul, bringing revitalized maps, commanders, and visuals to the five-year-old title. The first ultra test begins January 24th, giving players an early look at the enhanced experience. Multiple test phases are planned for the coming weeks.
Beyond the visual improvements, Reforged includes updated physics and other technical enhancements, bringing the mobile version closer to its PC counterpart. Interested players can register for the exclusive early access via the official website.
Performance Considerations:
The UE5 upgrade presents a double-edged sword. While graphical fidelity improves significantly, there's a potential performance impact on lower-end devices. However, given the game's cross-platform nature, developers are likely to have optimized for a wide range of hardware.
