Subway Surfers Celebrates 13th Anniversary with 21 Cities in 21 Days Update

Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned a massive event for players around the world. Starting May 12th, you'll embark on a globe-trotting marathon with Subway Surfers as part of its 13th Anniversary festivities.

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, the birthplace of Subway Surfers. The 13th Anniversary update introduces new content in the Danish capital and introduces a new daily city-hopping challenge. You'll not only run through Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To travel to these exciting destinations, you'll need to collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each location to unlock the next one.

This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a tradition Subway Surfers has been following since 2013. Currently, the game is in Osaka, celebrating the Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. The newest characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are making their debut here. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced. Gear Up for the Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary

Subway Surfers first hit the scene on May 23rd, 2012, and with 150 million monthly players and over four billion downloads worldwide, it's clear that this game deserves a spectacular anniversary celebration. After 12 years and 199 cities, Subway Surfers continues to connect players globally through its unique local scenery.

From May 12th to June 1st, there's even more to look forward to with bonus content. You can chase down two new travel-themed characters, Loc and Stevie, along with new outfits, hoverboards, and other rewards.
