What's New in Season 4?

This season introduces a frosty tundra habitat teeming with exciting additions:

• New Monsters: Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, making their debut in Monster Hunter Now. Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also join the fray. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within the Season 4 storyline. Access to the tundra is granted after finishing the prologue.

• New Weapon: The Switch Axe: Experience the versatility of the Switch Axe, a dual-mode weapon. Unleash powerful, wide-ranging attacks in Axe Mode, then switch to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.

• Palico Companions: Customize your very own Palico companion! Adjust their fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.

• Friend Cheering: Add a collaborative element to your hunts with Friend Cheering. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day (with a daily limit).
