As a child of the '90s, The Next Generation (originally airing from 1987 to 1994, with constant reruns throughout the decade) remains my favorite Star Trek series. While Deep Space Nine and Strange New Worlds are outstanding, and the original series deserves every bit of praise, Captain Picard is my captain. Iconic characters like Data, Troi, Worf, Riker, Geordi, Beverly, and even Wesley Crusher are timeless in my view. They form an incredible crew. I even appreciate the charmingly uneven early seasons. For me, the series is a comforting dose of nostalgia.

Paramount+ offers comprehensive access to the Star Trek universe, along with other great content.
