SteamDB data reveals a peak player count exceeding 197,000 users—the highest ever recorded for a paid EA game on the platform. This significantly surpasses Battlefield V's previous record of 116,000 players. While EA's free-to-play Apex Legends remains the most popular, with over 620,000 peak players, Split Fiction's achievement is a testament to its paid model's success.
