Smite 2's Open Beta Launches with Aladdin and More!
Smite 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MOBA, has officially launched its free-to-play open beta across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), and Steam Deck. This launch coincides with a significant content update.
A year in the making, Smite 2 leverages Unreal Engine 5 to deliver enhanced visuals and refined combat mechanics. The game retains the core 5v5 gameplay of its predecessor, where players control gods from diverse mythologies, but introduces a revamped item shop offering greater flexibility.
This open beta introduces a wealth of new content, headlined by the addition of Aladdin, a completely new god designed specifically for Smite 2. Aladdin boasts unique abilities, including wall-running and a three-wish revival mechanic tied to his companion. His ultimate ability involves capturing enemies within his lamp for a 1v1 duel.
