Silent Hill 2 Remake: A Year of PlayStation Exclusivity
Showcasing DualSense Controller Features in the Silent Hill 2 Remake
The "Silent Hill 2 - Immersion Trailer" on the PlayStation YouTube channel reveals the game's initial exclusivity to the PS5 for at least a year. While also releasing on PC on October 8th, Sony explicitly stated that the Silent Hill 2 remake will "not be available on other formats until 10.08.2025."This suggests a potential launch on Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch, among other platforms, after this date. The PS6 is unlikely to release by then, making this timeframe plausible.
PC gamers can pre-order the remake on Steam. Future availability on other PC platforms like Epic Games Store and GOG is also possible, though unconfirmed. Treat all speculation regarding future releases with caution until official announcements are made.
