Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is leaving Netflix Games, developer Yacht Club Games announced. While this is disappointing news for Netflix subscribers who enjoyed the game, it will remain available on other platforms including Steam, Switch, and PlayStation 4.

The developers confirmed the departure on Twitter, adding that they are exploring future options for the game. A standalone mobile release is a strong possibility, though a timeframe hasn't been confirmed.

The removal highlights a key risk inherent in subscription gaming services: limited ownership and reliance on developers for continued access.
