Among these hidden gems is the chance to romance Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress, a brief yet captivating interaction that happens amidst the hustle of the game's pivotal moments. In this guide, we'll explore where to find this unique encounter and how to successfully romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:
To meet and romance Naoise, you'll need to progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey toward Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your first visit to this area requires a meeting with Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a well-known brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate.
If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point, which will bring you directly to the front porch of Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
Naoise can be found in the Nymph's Grotto, a special chamber on the second floor. Access it by passing through the door to the outside area. The correct door is marked by a green light and ivy-covered walls. It's locked, but a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher will grant you entry.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, in an intimate moment. Jara will react to your intrusion, but as she speaks, a tadpole in her head connects with yours, leading to a confrontation about the Absolute. She then transforms into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat to proceed.
After defeating Jara, Naoise turns her attention to you, expressing an unusual attraction to Mindflayers. Engage her with the following dialogue choices:
"Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
"Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
A successful Insight check will reveal Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue with:
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
Avoid judgmental responses. Naoise will hint at being open to other experiences, leading to:
- "What did you have in mind?"
- "Close your eyes and listen"
This leads to a mental romantic encounter where Naoise asks you to choose your state of being:
- Revered
- Contented
- Powerful
- Rich
- I think we're done here.
Opting for "Contented" will trigger a brief romance scene. Once completed, Naoise will express no further interest in you, stating that she can offer 'rapture' only once. Interestingly, this encounter does not seem to affect existing relationships, such as one with Karlach, and other romanceable characters appear to be similarly unaffected.
Upon completing the romance, Shadowheart will grant you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point. Additionally, Naoise will bestow upon you the Rapture boon, which provides a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
