Roblox revives one of its most beloved traditions with a fresh twist. The iconic Egg Hunt, a fan-favorite since 2008, returns reimagined as The Hatch, as officially confirmed by Team Roblox.
When Does The Hatch Begin in Roblox?
The event officially launches on July 2nd, 2025 and concludes on July 12th, 2025, giving players ten exciting days of egg-hunting adventures. Community speculation is already buzzing about potential event mechanics.
The promotional artwork showcases multiple biomes, reminiscent of 2017's Egg Hunt: The Lost Eggs event which featured themed zones with unique egg designs.
Previous iterations challenged participants with puzzles, mini-games, and timed discoveries to collect special eggs hidden throughout the platform.
The announcement followed an intriguing rollout - beginning with cryptic emoji posts (🌎💧🔥🌪️⚡💙⏳❄️💡⚫) on Roblox's official X account, followed by a June 11th teaser titled The Hatch appearing across Instagram, Threads, X, and YouTube.
While details remain limited, the community eagerly awaits whether The Hatch will follow previous hunt-style formats. More information is expected in the coming weeks.
Roblox is available on Google Play Store with multiple ongoing events, including the Tamagotchi team-building gacha and the Green Empire event.
