In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's more to do than just hunt the largest beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your guide to success.
How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds
Contrary to what the trophy's name might suggest, you won't be chasing dragons or wyverns for this one. Instead, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you'll need to capture using your trusty Capture Net.
Finding the Curioshell Crab can be tricky since it appears in various locations across the maps. Our go-to spot has been the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6, known as the Flowering Rocks pop-up camp. If you haven't discovered this site yet, it's nestled between Areas 2 and 6.
Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then fire to capture the crab. Successfully capturing it will net you not only the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
The Curioshell Crab is known for its swift movement, so you'll need to anticipate its path and shoot ahead of it to capture it effectively. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you can also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Remember, it might spawn in other areas too, but these are the locations we've found it most frequently.
