Pokémon Go is bringing back the Bug Out event with Sizzlipede’s debut this time

Get ready for the return of the Bug Out event in Pokémon Go! From March 26th to 30th, a swarm of Bug-type Pokémon will invade, including the exciting debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. This event is packed with thrilling encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges.

Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but using enough at a single PokéStop will also significantly boost the number of Pokémon appearing. You'll also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will have increased odds of finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede.

Expect a flurry of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and even a chance to encounter Cutiefly.

Sizzlipede will appear in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor take over three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

A free Timed Research opportunity offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For extra rewards, a Paid Timed Research option ($2 or local equivalent) includes encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.
