Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is approaching its first anniversary, prompting developers to roll out a fresh batch of features. By month’s end, the team will launch three key updates designed to reinvigorate player engagement and boost popularity.
What are the new features in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket?
The first addition introduces a social sharing feature, allowing you to send one card per day to each friend. You can share cards ranging from 1-Diamond to 4-Diamond rarity, making it easy to gift your rarest discoveries. Recipients can then claim one shared card daily, enhancing community interaction.
The second major update significantly expands the trading roster. Previously limited in scope, trading will now include cards from the most recent booster packs. This change opens up new possibilities for collectors looking to complete their sets through direct trades with other players.
In addition to standard 1-Diamond and 1-Star cards, the tradable list now includes 2-Star and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards. For veteran players aiming to fill collection gaps, this expansion offers a much-needed boost in trading variety and accessibility.
The third feature enhances Wonder Pick mechanics, which have historically been unpredictable for those seeking specific cards. Unowned cards from the latest expansion will appear more frequently, improving your chances of completing new sets efficiently. Additionally, each card in Wonder Pick now displays your current ownership count, helping you track progress and avoid unwanted duplicates. These updates aim to attract new players while encouraging lapsed users to return. Since its launch on October 30, 2024, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket started strong but faced limitations in its mobile version that hindered growth. These improvements address those pain points directly.Meanwhile, the next expansion, Deluxe Pack EX, is also approaching release. You can download the game from the Google Play Store to experience these changes firsthand and discover what’s coming next.
