Persona 5: The Phantom X Global Pre-Registration Now Open on Android

*Persona 5: The Phantom X* is officially set to make its global debut, and the excitement is building fast. Pre-registration for the Android version is now live, marking a major milestone for fans worldwide. Initially announced for a June 26th, 2025 release in Japan, that same date has now been confirmed for the global launch—great news for players everywhere eager to dive into this stylish new chapter of the beloved franchise.

Originally launched in China a year ago, followed by releases in Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong, *Phantom X* has already proven its appeal across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and PC. Now, SEGA and Atlus are bringing the full experience to a global audience, developed in collaboration with Black Wing Game Studio and guided by former *Persona 5* developers to ensure the spirit of the series remains intact.

The game follows a free-to-play model and features a gacha system that allows players to summon a variety of characters to join their Phantom Thieves crew. With Japanese voice acting fully preserved and the option to play with either English or Japanese text, the global version promises an authentic experience tailored to international fans.

Pre-Register Now for the Global Release

If you're ready to step into the shadows, pre-registration is now available on the Google Play Store. Don't miss your chance to secure your spot ahead of launch. Plus, get your first look at the game's vibrant world and bold new direction with the official announcement trailer:

A New Phantom Thief Adventure Begins

*Phantom X* introduces a brand-new protagonist and a fresh crew of Phantom Thieves, exploring a stylized rendition of modern-day Tokyo. The game features original palaces, new mementos, and the signature dual-life gameplay loop that fans love—balancing daily routines with high-stakes dungeon crawling.

True to the series’ roots, the game retains turn-based combat, social-sim elements, and the mysterious Velvet Room. Players will encounter Lefaye, a talking owl who serves as a guide, alongside familiar faces like the enigmatic long-nosed Igor and his assistants. The story kicks off with the protagonist awakening from a nightmare into a distorted reality, setting the stage for a journey of rebellion, self-discovery, and psychological depth.

Additional features include a guild system, the PvE challenge mode *Velvet Trials*, and deeper social interactions that shape your character’s growth. With a mix of new content and nostalgic callbacks, *Phantom X* aims to honor the legacy of *Persona 5* while carving its own identity.
