Patch #8 for Baldur's Gate 3 is generating significant buzz among fans, as it promises to introduce cross-play capabilities, a photo mode, and an exciting addition of 12 new subclasses. In a recent video released by Larian Studios, players were treated to an exclusive sneak peek at four of these subclasses: the Bard of the College of Enchantment, Barbarian of the Path of the Giant, Cleric of the Death Domain, and Druid of the Circle of Stars.
Currently, the game is in the stress-testing phase, with additional sign-up rounds available for those eager to participate. While the exact release date for Patch #8 remains undisclosed, Larian Studios is keeping the community engaged through a series of sneak peek videos. The latest video marks Part 1 of a three-part series that will showcase all 12 new subclasses, allowing players ample time to get acquainted with the upcoming changes.
Two more trailers are scheduled to reveal the remaining subclasses, building anticipation for the patch. The stress-test phase, which began in January, also introduced a major update featuring the much-anticipated photo mode. As the final major update in the game's post-launch development cycle, Patch #8 is set to conclude Baldur's Gate 3's evolution, leaving fans excited and curious about future endeavors from Larian Studios.
