Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

The collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO has already brought us some fantastic sets, including the dynamic Mario and Yoshi set and the inaugural Legend of Zelda set. While these sets are remarkable, fans of both LEGO and Nintendo are eager for more variety from Nintendo's extensive catalog of iconic franchises.

Currently, the majority of LEGO Nintendo sets revolve around Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. However, there's a vast untapped potential in other Nintendo franchises that could be transformed into captivating LEGO sets. For those of us who crave more options, the question arises: Which Nintendo franchise should receive the LEGO treatment next?

With the excitement building around the upcoming Switch 2 and the continued success of Nintendo's ventures into movies, such as the new Mario movie and the anticipated live-action Zelda, the possibilities for new LEGO sets are endless. Personally, I believe the Metroid franchise would be an excellent candidate for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the perfect time to introduce some stunning builds that would undoubtedly captivate fans. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, though I understand this might be challenging due to existing licensing agreements with Mattel.
