Monster Train, Similar to Slay the Spire, Now Available on Android

Monster Train, a captivating roguelite deck-building game, has now arrived on Android after its initial release on PC in 2020, followed by consoles and iOS in 2022. Often compared to Slay the Spire due to its genre and gameplay, Monster Train brings a unique twist to the platform.

What Does Monster Train Bring to Android?

Set aboard a train descending into the frozen core of hell, your mission in Monster Train is to safeguard the last burning pyre from celestial intruders. What sets this game apart is its innovative use of three vertical lanes, allowing you to manage battles across multiple fronts simultaneously, unlike traditional single-battlefield setups.

As you progress, you can unlock over 250 cards and explore five distinct monster clans, each with unique playstyles. The flexibility to combine two clans at once adds layers of strategy and replayability. Every clan boasts ten levels of upgrades, enhancing your cards' strength with continued use. Champions, the game's standout units, can be upgraded multiple times, making them even more formidable.

The Android version of Monster Train includes all updates, such as Wild Mutations and Friends & Foes. Wild Mutations introduces 35 new mutators and additional difficulty settings, enriching the gameplay experience. Friends & Foes brings new champions, bosses, cards, and artifacts into the mix.

For those seeking more content, The Last Divinity DLC offers substantial replay value with the introduction of the Wurmkin clan, unlockable after reaching Covenant level 1. This DLC also features the Pact Shards mechanic, which grants power but pits you against the formidable endboss, 'The Last Divinity.'
