This special online paid event is set to take place from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and promises a unique hunting adventure focused on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

To participate in the Spring Hunt 2025, you'll need to purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks a special feature: uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions solely featuring Chameleos, eliminating any waiting periods between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Additionally, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear as a bonus.

The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be available during the Spring Hunt, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your gear and arsenal.

Chameleos, renowned for its stealthy maneuvers and ability to emit a disorienting fog, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances, equip gear that exploits Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Successfully defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armour, which boasts the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill cuts in half the duration poison and venom affect you, and also facilitates poisoning your targets. Moreover, Chameleos materials can be used to craft an impressive array of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
