Core Boxes
Each core box of *Monster Hunter World: The Board Game* is a complete, standalone experience, featuring four hunters and four unique monsters. These boxes can be combined to mix and match characters and creatures across different sets. While each set focuses on its unique hunters and monsters, there’s some overlap with components and additional cards for combining sets.
For newcomers, starting with a single core box is advisable. As you become more immersed in the game, you can expand your collection with smaller expansions before considering a second core set. Both core sets offer the same high-quality components and gameplay mechanics, with the only difference being their thematic settings and aesthetics. Choose the one that resonates with you or connects to your favorite parts of the video game series.
