Lunar New Year Festivities in Pokemon GO for 2025

Get ready for the Pokémon GO Lunar New Year 2025 event! Running from January 29th to February 2nd, this celebration offers boosted encounter rates for various Pokémon, including shiny Ekans, Onix, and Snivy.

This year's festivities include increased chances of securing Lucky Pokémon through trades and becoming Lucky Friends. Wild encounters will feature Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini, with boosted shiny rates for these Pokémon. 2km Eggs will hatch Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi.

Field Research tasks provide Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters. A paid Timed Research ($2) offers enhanced rewards, including two Lucky Eggs and an incubator. Routes will also yield Stardust, XP, and Zygarde Cells. Remember to claim all rewards before February 2nd at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Participate in the event's Collection Challenge for extra Stardust, perfect for trading! Showcase your Lunar New Year Pokémon at PokéStops for potential item bundle rewards. This event promises a bountiful harvest of rewards for players of all levels. Don't miss out on the fun!
