Pokémon Legends: Z-A – August 2025 Release Date Leak
Rumors suggest Pokémon Legends: Z-A may launch on August 15th, 2025, following a brief listing on Amazon UK in early January 2025. This aligns with The Pokémon Company's previously stated 2025 release window.
Officially announced during the 2024 Pokémon Day celebrations, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the anticipated sequel to 2022's Pokémon Legends: Arceus. While details remain scarce since its initial reveal, the leaked date adds to the growing anticipation. The Amazon UK listing, quickly retracted, briefly displayed the August 15th release date before reverting to a placeholder date.
February 2025 Confirmation Possible
The actual release date might be unveiled during the 2025 Pokémon Day Pokémon Presents broadcast, expected on February 27th. This aligns with the original Japanese release date of Pokémon Red and Green, and recent Pokémon GO data mining supports this date.
Beyond the release date, fans eagerly await a gameplay reveal, potentially also debuting during the February 2025 Pokémon Presents. Pokémon Legends: Z-A, initially confirmed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2, thanks to backward compatibility. While past mainline Pokémon titles have featured paid DLC, Pokémon Legends: Arceus only received one free post-launch update.
