InZOI will feature ghosts, an afterlife, and a karma system

InZOI's Game Director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, has revealed intriguing details about the game's paranormal elements. Players will have limited control over ghosts, a mechanic intricately linked to InZOI's karma system. This system tracks player actions, influencing not only their current lives but also their afterlife.

A character's karma determines their fate after death: peaceful transition to the afterlife or a lingering ghostly existence. Ghosts, needing to atone for karmic deficiencies, must earn missing points to finally move on.

While the early access version of InZOI features ghosts, player control over them is a later addition. Kim emphasizes InZOI's focus on realistic gameplay, keeping paranormal elements subtle. However, he hints at the possibility of introducing other unexplained phenomena in future updates.
