Here’s What the Gameplay Is Like

Once Human plunges you into a gripping multiplayer open-world survival experience. The narrative unfolds in a world thrown into chaos by an alien substance known as Stardust, which has contaminated the air, water, wildlife, and humanity itself.

As one of the few survivors, you're a Meta-Human, tasked with navigating the vast 256 square kilometers of the Nalcott (Nekot) continent. This environment is a mix of harsh terrains, from frozen tundras and erupting volcanoes to treacherous swamps and deceptive desert oases. Your survival hinges on your ability to farm, hunt, or engage in combat, adapting to whatever the environment throws at you.

Your adversaries include zombies—once humans now corrupted—and bizarre dimensional bosses altered by Stardust. Be wary, as Stardust not only affects your environment but also your sustenance. Drinking contaminated water can diminish your max HP and sanity levels.

The game's crafting system is robust, offering over 100 gun blueprints spread across seven categories, complemented by various accessories, perks, and upgrades.

Territory building plays a significant role in Once Human. With your Territory Core, you can establish a base anywhere on the map.
