Despite this setback, a sequel to the game is still in the works.

This update includes the Creator Kit and Mod Manager, enabling seamless mod creation and installation via CurseForge. Interactive president David Haddad discussed the monumental success of Hogwarts Legacy, highlighting how it allowed fans to deeply engage with the Harry Potter universe. At the time of the interview, players had brewed 819 million potions, rescued 593 million magical beasts, and defeated 4.9 billion dark wizards. Haddad also confirmed plans for more Harry Potter games, including Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which was in beta, and hinted at other projects in development.
