Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy centers around the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed a weak DPS option, making the exploit even more ironic.
The method is remarkably straightforward. It involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns obtainable during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing a significant number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health plummets dramatically.
This occurs because the Elemental Burst's area-of-effect (AoE) damage is amplified when interacting with objects. Deploying a large quantity of lanterns – say, a hundred – can result in damage reaching millions.
While this exploit is undoubtedly temporary and likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides players with an exceptionally easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
