The Lantern Rite event presents a crucial decision: which four-star character to select? This guide caters to both new and veteran players, offering advice on maximizing your choice.

Prioritize existing favorites! If you covet a missing character or additional constellations for a beloved unit, the choice is clear. However, if your roster is well-stocked, consider these recommendations.

The standout choice this year is the newly introduced four-star, Lan Yan. This Anemo shielder significantly enhances survivability in teams needing defense without healing, such as those featuring Hu Tao or Arlecchino. Her Anemo abilities, synergizing with the Viridescent Venerer artifact set, offer substantial resistance shredding. Since she's a new character, most players will find her a valuable addition. Acquiring her second constellation further boosts her capabilities, enabling shield regeneration during normal attacks.

While pulling for Arlecchino or Clorinde, you'll have a chance to obtain Lan Yan constellations. A second constellation for Lan Yan makes her shield self-sustaining, a significant power upgrade.

Beyond Lan Yan, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Yaoyao stand out as top-tier options. Yaoyao, a potent Dendro healer, consistently maintains team health. While her skill primarily heals the active character, it also damages enemies. Her burst offers full-team healing.
