Sega's Unexpected Announcement: No Football Manager 2025

Sega and Sports Interactive have made the surprising announcement that Football Manager 2025 has been cancelled. The decision, revealed in an official statement, cites the game's unfinished state despite two prior delays. The developers aimed for a significant technological leap, a goal they ultimately couldn't achieve in time. This frank admission is a refreshing change from the often-lackluster updates seen in other sports game franchises.

While the honesty is appreciated, the cancellation is still a letdown for fans. Furthermore, Football Manager 24 will not receive a 2025 season update, leaving players with only an outdated version for the coming year.
