"Event Horizon Prequel 'Dark Descent' Finally Arrives"

Nearly three decades following its theatrical debut, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic *Event Horizon* is set to expand its universe with a new prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a gripping five-issue comic series that delves into the chilling events preceding the film and uncovers the harrowing fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.

Crafted by the talented Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and illustrated by Tristan Jones of *Aliens: Defiance* fame, *Dark Descent* promises a visually stunning narrative. Pip Martin, recognized for *That Texas Blood*, brings vibrant colors to the series, while the cover art is handled by a stellar lineup including Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
